Located in the southeast of the Region, this District again is mainly rural with farming the main occupation.

The District has 14 Scout Groups an Explorer Scout Unit and a Network.

Located in the town of Annan, the Group has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts

This Group in the town in Langholm has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

This group is located centrally in the town of Moffat and has Beaver Scouts and Cub Scouts.

This Group is located in Noblehill, Dumfries and supports a Beaver Colony, Cub Scout Pack and Scout Troop.

This Group is located in Lockerbie and supports a Beaver Colony, Cub Scout Pack and Scout Troop.

This group is located in the south east area of Dumfries and it has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

Located in the town of Thornhill, the Group has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

Located in the Gretna, The group have Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts operating.

Eastriggs is the location for this group. They have Beaver Scouts operating.

This Group is located in Kirkconnel and have Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

Located on the west side of Dumfries and has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

This group is located in Lochmaben. They have a Beaver Scout Colony and a Cub Scout Pack.

The Lincluden Group, are based in the north area of Dumfries and has a Beaver Scout colony and Cub Scout Pack running.

Located on the west side of Dumfries and has Beaver Scouts, Cub Scouts and Scouts.

Currently there are Two Explorer Scout Units in Dumfriesshire, one in Annan and one in Dumfries itself.

The District currently has two Network sections operating.
